What is summer without baseball? Great way to see baseball on the Vineyard is to take in a Sharks game! The MV mug museum went to their first "Sharks" game tonight - beautiful weather and great crowd. This is a highly recommended addition to summer activities on the island. Even better the menu includes coffee and mugs!

Mug of the Month - Felix Neck Sanctuary

There are so many wonderful places to walk on the vineyard and one of the most spectacular is the Felix Neck Audubon sanctuary. The trails are wonderful, there are always interesting displays, and many activities. Not to be missed.

Time was there was no good bread to be had on the island - had to bring baguettes from off-island. Those days are long gone. Several great bakers and one newly welcome one is Rickard's with locations in Tisbury and Edgartown and stocked in most grocery stores:

It is so nice that we can hear our regular Boston shows when we are

Mug of the Month - Steamship Authority

It's an island so we could not get there without them. It's a new year and time to start booking the ferry tickets, so January mug is the Steamship Authority.

Personally I will always miss the Islander and many thanks to all of the personnel who get us back and forth so safely.
