The MV Mug Museum is dedicated to the art of collecting coffee mugs that cherish the rich heritage of the business community and organizations that make Martha's Vineyard such a special place. The MV Mug Museum is always interested in acquiring new items for the collection from generous benefactors or from the acquisition fund. Please contact us at MVMUGMUSEUM@AOL.COM if you have any suggested additions to the collection.
The vineyard is so lucky to have wonderful gardeners - one of the best was Polly Hill who is no longer with us in person, but who remains in her wonderful garden.
Make sure to visit the garden - here is the web site:
Mug of the month is from State Road Restaurant - we actually got it at the sister restaurant - Beach Road. This is a beautiful spot - great views from every seat. The sides (kale and polenta) were outstanding as was the great company.
Book ahead if you want a seat and bring your credit card.
With so much real estate action on the island, realtors need training and listing assistance - here is the mug from the Cape Cod & Islands multiple listing service - find the courses they offer on the Vineyard at: http://cciaor.com/
Always a spring tradition is to visit old places and see what didn't make it and what is new for the year. One place that is long gone is Sodapops - now it is "Beach Road" and has been other things in the interim. Here is the mug - don't know why it is sideways - it is ride side up on my computer.
We live by our appliances - washing machines, dryers, stoves, dishwashers. We have used Medeiros for ages. - They have always been great for purchase and repair.
