Mug of the Month - American Real Estate of Martha's Vineyard

Real estate is one of the seemingly biggest businesses on the island - here is a great mug of a brokerage that is no longer with us.  Not to dispair there are many others to take it's place.  Still love the American flag with the island in place with the stars and stripes.

Mug of the Month - Pandora's Box

Mug of the month is from a classic clothing store in Menemsha - Pandora's Box - I always thought this mug was particularly wonderful because of the spelling error on Menemsha and the website which is inactive.  Got the mug at some yard sale and always treasured it.
Love to stop in the shop when we visit the beach at Menemsha.

Mug of the Month - November 2015 - Cottles

For great home building materials the place to go since 1959 is E.C. Cottle - what a pretty ride to get over there as well.  Here is the mug and here is a link to the web-site: http://www.eccottle.com/

The staff has always helped us select supplies and been very helpful in doing some cutting and customizing for us.

Mug of the Month - F/V Roann

Boats are such a part of the scenery here - this month's mug is dedicated to Fishing Vessel Roann which was active on the Vineyard from 1947 through 1961.  Due to miracles the boat can be seen at Mystic Seaport and more miracles that the mug has come home to the Vineyard to join the museum.

You can see the mug here and the famous Vineyard fishing vessel at:

Mug of the Month - HarborView Hotel

the views don't get any better than from the porch at the Harbor View - we have never stayed there, but have eaten at the bar on occasion - and always pass by on our bike trips.  Make sure you at least take a breather on one of the porch rockers.
