A winter tradition is to find mugs for classic venues - here is a long time one in the heart of Edgartown.  So many small inns are gone now - our favorite was always the Daggett house with the great breakfast.

Up island life would not be the same without Alley's - open year round and they always have what you need to keep the house running, the children in fun, and food to eat.

Mug of the Month - Holmes Hole Sailing Association - 1st Place

Among the Flowers is a long-time cafe in Edgartown.  We had a delightful lunch there this summer and got the blue mug.  I am using this picture to show the great color and shape selection of the mugs.  Food is great here.  Check out the menu:

Mug of the Month - MV Agricultural Fair

Finally the MV Agricultural Fair has a mug - many thanks to our friend for spotting this gem for us.  I don't know why they waited so long - this was the 157th fair on the island.  Always lots of fun with posters and t-shirts.  I hope they keep up this new tradition of annual mugs.
